It's been adventures for me lately!

My assistant has been out the last two weeks after a foot surgery. Which, I highlight, IS FINE. I had to practically throw her out to get it done because she was terrified of our boss, but she had to get it done, she could hardly walk.

That means that I'm a little more busy and things become adventurous because a lot of the day, I am the ONLY person in the office. Trying to use the bathroom becomes like some game show time challenge. WILL I make it back to my desk before someone comes in or rings? And if I don't, will it be the sort of sort of person that just wanders into other people's offices or starts going through the desks (yup, welcome to my world!).

;_;, are my feelings on the matter.

The students are in what are supposed to be their last week of classes. Except most classes end up having their final on their last day of class, so finals weeks becomes obsolete for most of them. Except those kids that have a final on Dec 20th and just want to go hooooooome. Why is it the ones that WANT to go home get stuck, and the ones that never leave are supposed to have left this coming Monday?

Supervisor has been... herself. ;_; I will be happy when Dotty gets back, not because of any work load but as another buffer between myself and boss.

I am going almost a whole week to see my family at the end of the month, and I have taken the ENTIRE last week and half of December off. We get most of it off because of university holidays, but I took the last of the time. I am very o_O about visiting my family because there are always Dramas Afoot with them, but I can't wait to see my sister and co. My nephew keeps trying to emotionally blackmail me into staying longer. He's a little shit, but I love his face. :D!!

Then, New Years is a friends celebration!!! :D gramarye1971 is coming up, and I will be dancing with the Boston folks and just having an actual vacation for once. REAL VKAY FOR MEEEEEEEE! :D!!!!!!!!!

In random news, my phone died last week. Which, was fun! And by fun, I mean that my wallet is now very, very sad, but I'm glad to have something that actually works right now. I got the Galaxy S III, and it wasn't until I messed with it for a while that I realized how glitchy by old phone had become and I had needed a new one for a while. Again, wallet still sad, but it was worth it.

I might end up doing a big phone numbers and addresses drive post sometime soon, because it's so random what numbers did not transfer over. Like, varadia didn't. Whom I talk to almost every day! So strange!
