I'm rolling up my sleeves, internet, and I'm am CRACKING OPEN this publishing thing! I have a short story that I want to get published, and I'm on the hunt!

My goal for the year: get a short story published before my 27th birthday. Doesn't have to be paying! I'm just going to prove that I can!

Wow, is it hard to just find an anthology that isn't invite only. I knew this, but I'm still amazed by it. I just want to submit to you, publishing or web mags! Why you gotta hide yourselves on the internet?

Yes, I know why. I understand entirely why you are hiding, places that might take a story. I'll just have to work harder and stalk more people!
